Handshake is the nation’s #1 college-to-career network.  CCD partners directly with Handshake for not only job and internship postings, but also career advising appointments, employer and career events, and more.  Handshake is geared towards college students and puts a big focus on your career interests.

Update your Career Interests

If you’re logging into Handshake for the first time you’ll be prompted to set up your profile. By updating your career interests Handshake will optimize your feed with opportunities that best align with your interests. You can update your interests at any time, click on the link below for detailed instructions.

Complete your Profile

Just like LinkedIn, employers may use Handshake to contact you directly about opportunities, so it’s important to keep your profile up to date. Adding a photo and fleshing out your experience is a great way to get noticed by employers. You can build from your resume or start from scratch using the guide below.

Follow Employers in Handshake

Following an employer in Handshake is a great way to stay up-to-date with what companies are focused on. When you follow a company you’re interested in you’ll receive notifications whenever that company posts a job, hosts an event or is coming to campus.
