What is Handshake?
Handshake is the nation’s #1 college-to-career network. So, you’re new to Handshake. Welcome! Please refer to the help article below for all the information you’ll need to get started. This includes setting up your personal user account, creating your employer page or joining an existing one, and connecting with schools. (We recommend you start with Babson.) If you run into any technical issues along the way, please reach out to Handshake support directly.
Thank you for your interest in recruiting talented individuals from Babson! Once your user account and employer page are set up and you’re ready to post a job…
- Click Post a Job from your home dashboard, or click Jobs from the left navigation bar to access the Jobs page.
- Click the blue Create Job button in the top-right corner of the page and complete the job form.

Below are the basic steps to create an event and invite Babson students via Handshake. Events can be hosted at Babson, off-campus, or virtually.
- Click Events from the left navigation bar, then click Request Event in the top-right corner of the page.
- Complete the fields in the Create a new event form. This is where you will be able to invite Babson as a school to promote your event.
- Click Save in the lower-right corner to save and request your event.
If you would like to plan an on-campus event at Babson, please reach out to a member of our Employer Relations team.
On-Campus Interviews (OCIs) are a great way to review applications and meet with candidates exclusively from Babson. These are generally conducted in person within our dedicated Interview Suites, but can also be arranged virtually. Handshake’s platform allows you to review applications, select the candidates you would like to invite to interview, and allows invited students to select their own time slots.
In order to request an OCI, you must first have an active job listing that is approved by our school. Then, please follow these steps to request an interview schedule.
Once the schedule has been requested, a member of our team will review for approval and reach out to confirm logistics.
If you run into any issues or have any questions about the process, please reach out to a member of our Employer Relations team.
We use the Fairs function of Handshake for our Career Fair and Industry Recruiting Events. If you are interested in attending or would like to see what we have coming up, please follow the steps below.
