Food & Beverage Trek

The FABB Lab & CCD are co-hosting a Food & Beverage Trek where we will bring a group of students to visit food-focused companies around greater Boston!

Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to get a wholistic view of the food and beverage industry – from local agriculture, to restaurants, to retail.

Visits include:

Volante Farms

Roche Bros

Back Deck restaurant

+1 additional CPG company (TBA)

The Trek is a fantastic opportunity to meet and make connections with alumni and business owners who live and breathe this world every day. This is an educational experience for you to learn about different companies, various roles & career paths, and gain greater knowledge & insight into food & beverage careers.

DETAILS:

WHEN: Friday, March 27th, 8:30am-4:30pm (time subject to change)

Students will depart campus by bus at 8:30am.

EXPECTATIONS: The trek consists of 3-4 visits. If selected, you are expected to participate in ALL company visits and join the bus departing from campus.

QUALIFICATIONS: This program is open to all class years. There is no GPA requirement. Students must have a demonstrated interest in the food & beverage industries.

COST: This event is FREE for students to attend.

HOW TO APPLY:

You will need to submit your resume and transcript. The last question includes a 1-2 minute video.

**Plan ahead to prepare for any technical issues or delays. Late or incomplete applications will NOT be considered. Select the option to SAVE YOUR RESPONSE to keep a record of your submission.

TIMELINE:

All applications will be reviewed after the submission deadline has closed.

Selections sent out week of 3/9
Selected students must accept by Friday 3/13 at 12pm EST
Prep Session*: Mon 3/23 or Tues 3/24
Trek Date: Friday, March 27th

*All selected students must attend one Prep Meeting. Details to be shared in acceptance notice.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Once you have confirmed participation, you may NOT back out for any reason. Exceptions only for health concerns or emergencies.
